Don't you think there should be something here?

We need some kind of education system, don't we? Right now we have some methods of orientation, but we should have a university. I think it would just be like a cooperative thing, where people could come, share their own knowledge, & ask questions of others. That way everyone would be more educated.

Just thought I'd try to get the conversation going. Please post your thoughts on the issues.

I ran this poll because many people say we need a better education system. It feels like everyone wants one, but no one will establish one. I was wondering if this is true, or if there is not popular support for this.

I don't think it's a matter of wanting one, so much as finding the time, people and experienced players willing to invest their time into an enterprise like this one.

Do I think we should? Certainly. Do I think it takes precedence over reorganizing the military at this point? Not as much, although I do believe that a strong educational system targeting our new players and getting them more involved should be a goal sometime down the line.

Part of the education could be the military. This area of the forum is called schools & universities. We could have a military school, a buisness school, a media school, a political school, really a school for anything someone wants to learn more about. If it's kind of a cooperative thing like I suggested, where people can just get on this area of the forum & share their knowledge, it shouldn't take too much effort.

well, tsunami - as i found out 4 months ago - it doesn't take much effort for a group of people. if ONE person decides to organise everything it will take a lot of effort.

Nagyzee moderates this, doesn't he? Could we just ask him to add to this area with sections called "School of Business," "School of Media Arts," "School of Political Science," & "Military School?"
